If we allowed ourselves to stay in the moment and think not about before or next. But about Now.
Expectations lead to disappointment.To judgement. To perfectionism. To all the things I know I am working on getting away from.
Now is about flow and being open and allowing things to happen without forcing or pushing. When you live now as it is meant to be lived, there is no room for expectations.
My way of bringing myself back to Now is through my breath. Going back to following it in and out of my nose or mouth, deep and deliberate.
In Now, we breathe.
It helps. Next time you find yourself stressing about something or P.O.’d because you expected one thing and got another or about to go down a bad path of conflict with someone you always seem to be in conflict with, remember Now. Come back to Now and follow your deep and deliberate breaths in and out, in and out.
shit things you are dealing with don’t magically disappear, but they move to the back burner while your get back to the strong core of who you are. What isn’t important will fall away and you can more strongly and powerfully deal with what you really have to deal with.
In the Now.
