A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, Allison has been a copywriter for 20+ years, writing tens of thousands of pages’, screens’ and scripts’ worth of marketing copy for corporations and organizations all over the world. As an author, Allison has written four books and is at work on her fifth, her first novel. Her most recent book, AFTERMATH: A Granddaughter’s Story of Legacy, Healing & Hope, chronicled Allison’s experience growing up as the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors in a family that struggled to heal for three generations.
Today Allison is also a homeopath. She trained at the Academy of Homeopathy Education and founded Homeopathy Space, where she works one-on-one with clients over video. She also founded the copywriting agency Allison Media Group.
Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Allison has lived with her family in South Florida for over 20 years. She met her spouse over a decade ago on Twitter, walks 50+ miles a week, reads tarot daily and thinks there is nothing that the right Counting Crows song can’t cure.

Aftermath
A Granddaughter’s Story of Legacy, Healing & Hope
The first-of-its-kind memoir by a “3G,” or grandchild of Holocaust survivors, Aftermath is about being born into a history that never goes away. It is about reconciling memories of a tragic past with hopes for a better future. It is about the delicate balance between a proud legacy and a burdensome responsibility.

What readers are saying about Aftermath.
This book is so different, so sobering, so nuanced in its telling of a truly unique and, at the same time, beautiful and sad story.
Your book blew me away. I inhaled it, couldn’t put it down…I’m going to read it again.
The burden of the story had very different effects on the three powerful women in this book, and it drove the trajectory of each of their lives in different ways. I commend Allison for being brave enough to share a very private story and for coming out stronger on the other side.
Holy sh*t Allison, this has to be a movie!
I admire and salute your honesty and your self-awareness. You are a gift, as is this book.
It’s a touching and compelling story that I’m grateful to have read. Fair warning, though, once you start reading it, it’s hard to put down… I finished it in two days!
