I work professionally, and have for nearly two decades, as a writer. Businesses of all sizes (from one-person entrepreneurial pursuits to Fortune 500s and everything in-between), as well as individuals, hire me for a variety of writing projects, pursuits and assignments.

Copywriting:I work with select clients as a copywriter. In fact, copywriting was the foundation of my business when I first hung my shingle and started the business of building a business. I work with businesses and business people to write the words that sell their products and services, whether online, in print, via audio, video or otherwise. (In short, copy = words that sell. I write those words.)
Good copy is more than just words. Sure, copywriting is all about the writing, whether it’s a blog post, an entire website, a teleseminar series, a full-length book or anything else. But marketing requires more than just a well-though-out or well-put-together sentence or paragraph. Marketing is about a mindset of strategy, of selling, of connecting. The best copywriters do more than write well. The best copywriters write to sell.
When you contact me about your copywriting needs, I can determine whether we should move forward together. If I feel there is a better fit for you elsewhere, I’ll happily refer you to another great copywriter whom I feel will best meet your needs. Ghostwriting:A ghostwriter is a professional writer who is hired to write in someone else’s name. Ghostwritten works include (but are not limited to): books, speeches, scripts and blogs. I work with select clients who hire me to write books, speeches, video scripts, courses (e-learning in particular), teleseminar scripts, bylined columns and/or blog posts.
I work with entrepreneurs, industry leaders, CEOs, speakers, consultants and coaches who are established experts in their field and looking to expand their repetoire of written work. I take on a limited amount of ghostwriting projects so that I can focus on my client and the writing 100%. Ghostwriting services usually include researching, interviewing and, of course, writing, all to varying extents based on the particular project. The editing process is as collaborative (or not) as you would like it to be. Pricing is customized and varies by client and project.

Juicy, Meaty Writing: (How’s that for a catch-all category?!) Sometimes, the work I do for clients may not fit squarely into one of the categories above. This arrangement is usually a hybrid of writing services and ongoing consultation.If you’re fairly certain you need me, my brain and my services, feel free to ask more, and know that this kind of engagement is for those clients for whom budget is not much of an issue.
