Consulting
Use me, pick my brain, heed my recommendations, listen to my advice and retain me as your personal, accessible and on-call marketing/writing consultant.
We communicate via phone, e-mail, Skype and/or any other ways that work for you. One-time sessions and ongoing engagements available. Consulting includes but is not limited to: Planning, editing, outlining and coaching — all delivered by me and me only.
Some people want to write their own copy. Some are marketing their own small businesses. Yet others are marketing professionals and executives within large corporations. All of these people need feedback and guidance on ongoing copy and writing they are putting out for their website, or blog or a combination of articles, e-newsletters, press releases and sales letters.
Others are ready to start work on that book they’ve always wanted to write.
Some don’t even know where to start and need to create and implement a plan.
All of these people have what it takes to write the words. But the writing is only half the battle.
What they don’t have, and what I can give them, is:
• Accountability: Someone to make sure they stay on track, meet deadlines, keep moving, make progress – and eventually and actually finish.
• Proofreading/Editing: Someone to actually edit and proof, word-by-word and line-by-line, the words they write.
• Strategy/Consulting: Someone who helps them understand and implement what’s next. Even the best words in the world won’t go far without proper marketing and exposure. What kind of copy to use where, and how?
As a Marketing Consultant and/or Writing Consultant, I work with people on their business writing, marketing writing and their personal projects one-on-one and in group coaching programs.
These people include: Entrepreneurs, CEOs, marketing pros, business owners, coaches, consultants, VAs (Virtual Assistants), business owners and other copywriters.
I make sure they – or you — have the input, guidance and expertise from me to plan, write (finally!) finish your marketing copy, whether it be for your business website, a product promotion, the launch of a new program, your blog and, in some cases, your book, memoir or story.
To determine which coaching arrangement works best for you, think about your preferences and answers on the following:
• How much access do I want to Allison via email and phone in-between coaching sessions?
• Do I want Allison to edit my writing in-between coaching sessions?
• How fast do I want to get this copy done and have my products or services selling?
• How much time per week or per month am I able to devote to writing my copy?
• How much personalized attention do I want?
• Do I work better totally on my own or in a group setting or one-on-one?
